Baycox is a 2.5% anticoccidial drug intended for the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis in poultry.
Baikoks 2.5% is a colorless, odorless liquid. The drug contains as active substance 2.5% toltrazuril and a solvent. Produce Baikoks in the form of a solution of 2.5% for oral use, packaged in plastic bottles of 1.0 liters.
The order of application and dose
Baikox is used for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes in coccidiosis of broilers, turkeys, geese and ducks.
The drug is used with drinking water for two consecutive days at a dose of 7 mg of toltrazuril (DV) per 1 kg of poultry weight (28 ml of 2.5% Baycox solution per 100 kg of poultry weight), which is equivalent to 1 ml of 2.5% Baycox solution per 1 liter drinking water, which is watered for 48 hours, or 3 ml of 2.5% Baycox solution per 1 liter of drinking water, which is watered the bird for 8 hours two days in a row. In severe cases, the treatment is repeated after 5 days.
Toxicology and restrictions
Baycox in the recommended doses and 10 times higher than them does not cause side effects and complications in birds and does not prevent the formation of immunity to coccidiosis. It is forbidden to use Baikoks to laying hens. Slaughter of poultry for meat is allowed not earlier than 8 days after the last application of the drug.
