Rikarfa tablets (carprofen) with the taste of meat No. 20, KRKA
The non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug "Rikarfa" is indicated for use as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent for elderly dogs, as well as for dogs in the postoperative period.
In their old age, our beloved pets develop chronic diseases of the musculoskeletal system, which significantly reduce their quality of life: animals suffer from pain, which makes them eat poorly and sleep poorly. To make life easier for a pet in old age or after surgery, veterinarians recommend the non-steroidal analgesic Rikarfa. The active substance in "Rikarfa" is carprofen. Carprofen has an anti-inflammatory, antipyretic effect. It blocks the synthesis of substances in the body that are responsible for the development of pain, swelling, and inflammation. At the same time, carprofen does not affect the natural physiological processes occurring in the body. Carprofen is quickly absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and reaches the maximum concentration in the blood after 1-3 hours.
"Rikarfa" is produced in the form of tablets with the taste of meat, 20 mg, 50 mg and 100mg; 20 pieces in a package. The duration of the course of treatment with the drug "Rikarfa" depends on the condition of the animal and is determined by the attending veterinarian.
The drug "Rikarfa" cannot be prescribed to pregnant dogs, nor is it recommended to use "Rikarfa" in combination with other anti-inflammatory drugs.
