100 ml of the drug contains:
metronidazole - 5 g.
Pharmacological properties
Metronidazole belongs to the group of nitroimidazoles and has an antiprotozoal and bactericidal effect. It is excreted from the body after 48 hours, mainly with urine.
Application
All types of animals for the treatment and prevention of dysentery, colibacteriosis, eimeriosis, balantidiosis, salmonellosis, enteritis, septicemia, after surgical complications.
Dosage
Intramuscularly in a dose of 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight (5 mg of metronidazole per 1 kg of live weight) in dysentery caused by Treponema spp., 2 ml per 10 kg of body weight in dysentery caused by anaerobes, as well as in balantidiosis. The drug is administered once a day until the symptoms disappear (as a rule, 1-2 injections are enough).
Rabbits and nutria are given the drug with water at a dose of 0.4-0.5 ml per 1 kg of body weight for 2-3 days.
Poultry - 5-6 ml per 1 liter of water for 10 days.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to metronidazole.
Reservation
Do not use the drug simultaneously with alcohol-containing products and in the first trimester of pregnancy.
Storage
Dry, dark place at a temperature of 5 to 25 °C.
The shelf life is 3 years from the date of manufacture
