Pharmacological properties
Denatured emulsified placenta (PDE) acts as a biogenic stimulator that improves metabolism due to the presence of minerals, nucleotides, amino acids and enzymes. The detoxification effect is due to the presence of hexuronic acids in PDE. Sodium nucleicate is an inducer of the leukocyte reaction, a stimulator of intracellular metabolism, nucleic exchange, especially with immunodeficiencies in animals and poultry.
Application
As a biotonic agent for the prevention and treatment of various pathologies in cattle, horses, pigs, fur animals, dogs, cats, chickens: anemia, hypovitaminosis, infectious and invasive diseases, pyometra, poisoning, etc.; in the postoperative period; with toxicosis of pregnancy; to stimulate hunting; when preparing the animal for exhibitions, competitions and transportation.
Dosage
The drug is administered subcutaneously, intramuscularly, intravenously.
Oral use with drinking water is possible.
For the treatment of animals, the drug is used in doses:
intramuscularly 0.3-0.5 ml per 1 kg of body weight 1-3 times a day as part of complex therapy of hypovitaminosis, infectious and parasitic diseases. The duration of the course is 5-10 days. With intravenous administration, the dose should be halved, with oral administration (on the root of the tongue) – to be doubled;
in case of poisoning, the drug is administered subcutaneously, intravenously or by drip in a dose of 1.0-1.5 ml per 1 kg of body weight as part of complex therapy.
For preventive purposes:
inject 0.025 ml of the drug per 1 kg of body weight,
to stimulate hunting - twice with an interval of 7 days;
to increase fertility immediately before fertilization;
for better fetal development - 1-3 times a month in the first half of pregnancy;
to facilitate childbirth and prevent complications - once before childbirth;
females for the prevention of metabolic disorders and reduction of body weight loss during lactation - 1-3 times a month during the entire lactation period;
intramuscularly 0.1 ml of the drug per 1 kg of body weight once a day for 1; 3 and 5 days of life of young animals to increase natural resistance and immunity, prevent early mortality;
intramuscularly 0.1 ml of the drug per 1 kg of body weight once or in a course of 3 injections with an interval of 2 days during the period of intensive growth of the young (if necessary, the course can be repeated every month); increase in body weight in young animals or due to growth retardation;
intramuscularly 0.1 ml of the drug per 1 kg of body weight once or, if necessary, a course of 8, 6 and 4 days before exposure to the expected stress factor to young and adult animals during periods of intense loads, during transportation and other stresses;
intramuscularly 0.1 ml of the drug per 1 kg of body weight 1-3 times a week in weakened and old animals (after diseases, surgery and during deworming).
For the convenience of oral administration, small doses can be mixed with a small amount of drinking water.
