COMPOSITION
Crystalline powder of yellow or greenish-yellow color, slightly bitter taste. Practically insoluble in water, very little in alcohol.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
The drug is used for salmonellosis, colibacillosis, coccidiosis, balantidiosis, enteritis and hepatitis of animals and birds.
DOSES AND METHOD OF APPLICATION
The drug is administered orally with food, dividing the daily dose into 2-3 equal parts, which are fed after 6-8 hours. The course of treatment is 6-10 days. With salmonellosis and colibacillosis of calves, lambs and pigs - 3-4 days in a row, with the simultaneous appointment of pathogenetic agents. Daily doses, g: for chickens and ducklings (per 1000 heads) aged 1 to 10 days - 2.0, from 11 days to 1 month - 3.0, over 1 month - 4.0; to goslings (per 1000 heads) aged 1 to 10 days - 3.0, from 11 days to 1 month - 4.0, older than 1 month - 5.0; piglets and lambs (per animal) aged 1 to 10 days - 0.3, from 11 days to 1 month - 0.4, over 1 month - 0.5; calves (per animal) aged 1 to 10 days - 0.6, from 11 days to 1 month - 0.8, over 1 month - 1.0;
Dosage
Orally mixed with food or individually in the following doses:
calves and piglets 3-5 mg / kg of live weight for 3-7 days;
poultry 2-3 g per 1000 heads twice a day for 5-8 days;
carps: 1-2 g / 10 kg of feed for 5-7 days.
SIDE EFFECTS
With prolonged use of the drug in large doses, neurosonephritis, toxic liver dystrophy, polyneuritis, and allergic phenomena may occur.
