Dosage form:
Tablets for oral use

Compound:
1 tablet contains the active substance fluralaner:
- 112.5 ml for dogs weighing 2.0 to 4.5 kg
- 250.0 ml for dogs weighing 4.5 to 10.0 kg
- 500.0 ml for dogs weighing 10.0 to 20.0 kg
- 1000.0 ml for dogs weighing 20.0 to 40.0 kg
- 1400.0 ml for dogs weighing 40.0 to 56.0 kg

Excipients: pork liver flavor, sucrose, corn starch, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium embonate monohydrate, magnesium stearate, aspartame, glycerin, soybean oil, macrogol 3350.

Pharmacological properties:
- Fluralaner, which is part of the drug, is an acaricide and insecticide. It is effective against ticks (adult and juvenile stages) Ixodes ricinus, Ixodes hexagonus, Ixodes scapularis, Ixodes holocyclus, Dermacentor reticulatus, Dermacentor variabilis and Rhipicephalus sanguineus and fleas (Ctenocephalides felis and Ctenocephalides canis).
- Fluralaner is a potent inhibitor of certain parts of the arthropod nervous system, acting antagonistically on voltage independent chloride ion transport channels (GABA receptor and glutamate receptor).
- After administration, fluralaner is rapidly absorbed, reaching peak plasma concentrations within 24 hours. The food enhances absorption. Fluralaner is systemically distributed and reaches the highest concentrations in fat, followed by liver, kidney and muscle. Long-term persistence and slow elimination from plasma and the absence of extensive metabolism provide effective concentrations of fluralaner during the interval between doses of the drug. The main route of excretion from the body is the excretion of unchanged fluralaner in the feces.

Indications for use:
Prevention and treatment of mixed parasitic infestations in dogs. The drug provides long-term (up to 12 weeks) systemic insecticidal and acaricidal protection of animals during the imaginal and juvenile stages of development of ticks (adults and larvae of Ixodes ricinus, Ixodes hexagonus, Ixodes scapularis, Ixodes holocyclus, Dermacentor reticulatus, Dermacentor variabilis and Rhipicephalus sanguineus) and x (Ctenocephalides felis and Ctenocephalides canis). The drug causes the death of fleas 8 hours after they hit the body, ticks - after 12 hours. The drug can be used in the complex therapy of flea allergic dermatitis

Dosage:
Tablets are administered to dogs individually orally during or shortly before/after feeding at a therapeutic dose of 25-56 mg of fluralaner per 1 kg of animal weight. Bravecto has an attractive aroma and flavor and is generally readily eaten by dogs; otherwise, the drug is injected directly into the mouth or fed with food. Breaking tablets is not allowed. You should make sure that the dog has completely swallowed the required dose of the drug.
With the simultaneous use of Bravecto with anthelmintics, antibiotics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and glucocorticosteroids, no adverse reactions and a decrease in the effectiveness of the drug were detected.
Before the introduction of the drug, it is necessary to accurately determine the body weight of the animal. Dogs weighing over 56 kg should be given the appropriate combination of two tablets.

Contraindications:
individual intolerance to the components of the drug
the drug should not be used in puppies younger than 8 weeks of age and / or dogs weighing less than 2 kg
do not administer to animals at intervals less than 8 weeks

Warning:
Can be used during pregnancy and lactation
