Composition:
1 tablet contains:
active substances - febantel - 525.0 mg; pyrantel embonate - 504.0 mg; praziquantel - 175.0 mg
Excipients - corn starch, lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, magnesium stearate, sodium lauryl sulfate, colloidal silicon dioxide, flavors.
Pharmacological properties:
ATC vet QP52 anthelmintic veterinary drugs (QP52AA51, praziquantel, combinations).
Pharmacodynamics. Drontal Plus with meat taste, anthelmintic against round and tapeworms, contains active substances: febantel, pyrantel embonate, praziquantel.
The combination of the active substances of pyrantel and febantel, which are part of the drug, has a synergistic effect against nematodes (roundworms, uncinaria, hairy heads) in dogs: Toxocara canis, Toxocaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum and Trichurispis.
Praziquantel is active against cestodes in dogs: Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp .. Praziquantel acts against all intestinal larval stages of these parasites.
Pharmacokinetics. Pyrantel acts as a cholinergic antagonist, causing spastic paralysis of roundworms by depolarizing neuromuscular blockade. The anthelmintic efficacy of febantel is due to its ability to stop the polymerization of tubulin in the microtubules. As a result of structural and functional metabolic disorders, the energy reserves of parasites are depleted, resulting in their death for 2-3 days. Praziquantel is rapidly absorbed through the outer shell of tapeworms, resulting in its damage and contraction. This leads to the destruction of the outer shell, disorders of metabolism and death of the parasite.

Prevention and treatment of dogs (puppies and adult dogs) in the defeat of round and tapeworms.

Dosage:
The recommended dose is 1 tab. per 35 kg of animal body weight.

Duration of treatment: once. Deworming of dogs begins at 3 weeks of age and then carried out quarterly.
Contraindications:
The drug is not used in females in the first two trimesters of pregnancy.
Warnings:
