Plano-cylinder tablets with a strip and a facet from white to gray color and a specific odor.
Composition
0,8 g of the drug (1 tablet) contains: active ingredient albendazole – 360 mg and excipients.
Pharmacological Properties
ATCvet QP52A, veterinary drug against trematodes (ATCvet QP52AS11, albendazole)
Active ingredient of the drug — Albendazol (methyl [5 – (propylsulphanyl)-1n-benzimidazol-2-yl] carbamate, benzimidazole derivatives). Albendazole inhibits protein (tubular) synthesis, resulting in a disturbance of nutrients entrance, intracellular transport and exchange of adenosine triphosphate and glucose. The mitochondrial reaction is reduced through inhibition fumaratereduktase, causing a decrease of glycogen and the death of the parasites from exhaustion.
Application
Deworming of cattle, sheep, goats, horses, pigs, dogs, cats and poultry from from such helminth diseases:
– trematodosis: fascioloz (Fasciola hepatica),dikrotselioz (Dicrocoelium lanceatum), opisthorchiasis(Opisthorchis tenuicollis);
– cestodosis: moniezioz(Moniezia expansa, Moniezia benedeni), tizaniezioz(Thysaniezia giardi), dipilidioz (Dipylidium caninum) ;
– nematodoses: gemonhoz (Haemonchus contortus, Haemonchus placei), bunostomoz (Bunostomum trigonocephalum, Bunostomum phlebotomum), ezofagostomoz(Oesophagostomum venulosum, Oesophagostomum radiatum, Oesophagostomum dentatum), nematodiroz (Nematodirus filicollis; Nematodirus spathiger), ostertagioz (Ostertagia circumcincta), strongyloidiasis (Strongyloides papillosus, Strongyloides ransomi), trihostrongilez (Trichostrongylus colubriformis), askaroz (Ascaris suum), paraskaroz (Parascaris equorum), trihuroz (Trichuris vulpis, Trichuris suis, Trichuris ovis), habertioz (Chabertia ovina), toxocariasis (Toxocara canis, Toxocara leonina), ancylostomiasis (Ancylostoma caninum),untsinarioz (Uncinaria stenocephala), oksiuroz (Oxyuris equi), ascaridosis (Ascaridia gall i narum), geterakoz ( Heterakis gallinarum).
Dosage
Drug is applied per os, once or twice with an interval of 7 days with meal in doses given in the table below:

Contraindications and Precautions
Drug is forbidden for females in the first half of pregnancy and one month before giving birth. Animals which are hypersensitivity tobezimidazol compounds, could have complications, such as: allergic reactions (skin rash, itching, edema), hematopoiesis derangements.Desensitization therapy is prescribed if the patient has complications after the use of the drug.
After the drug was used consumption of the products is allowed:
– Meat: pigs — in 10 days; ruminants – in 7 days, poultry – in 2 days;
– Internal organs (liver, heart, lungs): pigs – in 35 days, ruminants and poultry – in 20 days;
– Milk – in 2 days.
Do not use the drug simultaneous with other anthelmintics.
Storage
In the dry, dark, well ventilated (humidity of 75%) room on the shelf with the temperature from 15 to 30 °C.
Do not store together with food
